About us

Why we started AwardRight

Every year, federal agencies spend billions of dollars on services from small businesses. A lot of the companies best suited to that work never bid on it.

Our founders started AwardRight to change that. Too many qualified businesses, with good people and good reputations, sit out federal work. They can do the job. What stops them is everything around it: finding the right bids, making sense of a long solicitation and writing a proposal that holds up. For a busy owner, that's a second job. And the usual fix, hiring a consultant, often costs more than a small company can justify before it has won anything.

What we're here to do

Our mission is to give small businesses a fair shot at federal contracts. We take on the searching, the reading and the paperwork that keep most firms on the sidelines. And we charge in a way that makes sense for a company that's new to government work.

How we work

You make the calls. We find the bids, explain them and help with the proposal and the price. You decide whether to bid, set the final number and submit under your own name.

Plain English. Federal bids are long and full of jargon. We tell you what the agency wants and what to watch for, in words that make sense.

Fair, flat fees. Bid Alerts start at $49 a month, and help on a bid is a flat fee you'll know before we start. There's no retainer, and we never take a cut of what you win.

One business per bid. We never help two companies go after the same contract, so the help you get is only for you.

Who we are

Our background is in contract negotiation and procurement, with more than five years in both. We know how a buyer weighs an offer and where the terms can cost you, and we apply that to every bid we prepare.

AwardRight is an independent company. We're not part of any government agency, and we never charge for anything the government already gives you for free, like registering in SAM.gov. A person on our team checks everything before it reaches you.
