NAICS code finder: the right code and size limit for your work
Type the work you do, like pressure washing or snow plowing, and see which NAICS codes cover it and the SBA size limit for each. Free, no sign-up.
How to use the results
Every federal bid carries one NAICS code, picked by the agency, and you count as small for that bid if your average revenue is under its size limit. So list every code you could realistically bid under in your SAM.gov registration, not just your main one. Our guide to which NAICS codes to list explains why one code won't find you every bid.
Codes and the business types under each come from the U.S. Census Bureau's 2022 NAICS index. Size limits are from the SBA's table in 13 CFR 121.201, as of October 2026; some codes have exceptions for particular kinds of work. The search runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
